Please study the instructions below on how to sell on Norathread Marketplace. The instructions will show you how it all works.

 

Selling on NoraThread

Start selling on NoraThread, create your account on the platform, and create lists of your products.

Account Creation:

Here is a step by step guide

Step 1: Click or tap this REGISTER link on your phone or computer 

Step 2:  You can also access the Register link from Become a Vendor tab on the footer menu

Step 3:  Enter username

Step 4: Enter Email and verify it.

Step 5: Provide other information including

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Store Name
  • Address
  • Country
  • City
  • State
  • Postal Code
  • Store Phone
  • Upload ID card if requested

Step 6: Create Password

Step 7: At last agree with the terms and conditions and tap on Register

 

After registering:

After registering you can set up your store. Provide the following information to setup your store. Video tutorial is available to guide you on how to setup your store 

  • Upload your Store Logo and banner
  • Provide Shop name
  • Enter Email and Phone
  • Provide Address information

(After that click to continue and you will move to payment setup)

  • Here select your payment method (PayPal, bank transfer or others) and related details.

(Click continue and you will move to policies)

  • In policies tab you can read policies related to shipping, and return/exchange/cancellation.

(Click continue and you will move to customer support tab)

  • Provide Phone, Email and address information
 
Next is SEO setup:

Some or all of the following information will be required:

  • SEO Title
  • Meta description
  • Meta Keywords
  • Facebook Title, description and image
  • Twitter Title, description, and image

(Click to continue and next step is Store social setup)

Provide links of following Social accounts:

  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Youtube
  • Linkedin
  • Google plus
  • Snapchat
  • Pinterest

You are done. Your store is ready. You can now go to the dashboard add products and start selling.

What can you list?

You can list anything that can be shipped. Check out our prohibited items list on the prohibited conduct page to know what we restrict in the marketplace.

To create the listing, follow the given steps.

  • Choose the right category
  • Take good photos of your product (use the required photo size)
  • Write your product description
  • Check out for the right price and mention it
 

Shipping:

After creating a listing, choose the right shipping option for you. Refer to Shipping Policy guide.

Get orders:

When you get orders and your products are sold, you will receive notification and you have to follow the guidelines

  • Package the item with care and attach the shipping label with the tracking number
  • Ship the product within the time you stated on your listing
  • If you experience any delay, let the customer know
 

Getting paid:

Once delivery is confirmed, payment will be released to you within 3 business unless the customer files a complaint. If the customer has any issues, they can contact you within 3 business days.

 

Seller’s Fee:

We current charge sellers a low sales commission of 8%  on total value of every completed order. Total order value includes product price as listed by sellers, shipping charges if charged separately from price, and taxes where applicable. We advise sellers to consider this when setting their product prices, especially where free shipping is offered. For example, item listing price is $50, shipping cost is $15, 5% sales tax = $3.25. Total sales will therefore be $68.25. NoraThread sales commission will be $68.25 x 8% = $5.46.

 

Payment Processing Fee

Please bear in mind that sales commission charged by NoraThread is exclusive of payment processing fee charged by payment processing gateways such as PayPal, Stripes, Direct Bank Transfer, and others. Please add Gateway Fee to your listing price to avoid underpricing of your products. For example, Paypal charges 3%+$2.80 for each transaction, while Stripes charges 3%+$3.5 per transaction.

 

Listing/Account Fees

Currently, NoraThread does not charge listing or account fee. This is to reduce sellers costs and help them make more profits. NoraThread however reserves the right to charge these and other necessary fees as it deems necessary at anytime to help cover business running costs. Where this happens, NoraThread cannot be held liable or accountable for this decision.
